Easy Flourless Banana Bread
If you’re looking for a quick, healthy, and delicious treat, try this flourless banana bread. You just need a few pantry staples. It's perfect as a nutritious snack or a wholesome breakfast (paired with some protein, of course!).
Just blend, bake, and enjoy.
Ingredients
1/2 cup rolled organic gluten-free oats (preferably non-GMO)
1 ripe banana
1 egg
1/4 cup milk of choice
Pinch of salt
1/4 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup of chocolate chips (optional)
1-2 tsp raw honey or maple syrup (optional)
Directions
Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a small baking dish (like an 8x4 inch loaf pan) with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
Prepare Oats: I prefer a finer texture, so I blend the rolled oats in a blender or food processor until it forms a flour-like consistency.
Mix Ingredients: Mash the ripe banana until smooth in a mixing bowl. Add the egg, milk, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Stir until well combined.
Add Dry Ingredients: Add the oats, salt, and baking soda to the banana mixture. Mix until fully incorporated. Gently fold in the chocolate chips if using.
Pour and Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes clean.
Cool and Enjoy: Allow the banana bread to cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely. Slice and enjoy!
