Delicious Lamb Chops: A Family Favorite

Lamb chops are a cherished favorite in our household, especially with my oldest son, who requests this recipe almost weekly. This dish offers many health benefits, making it an excellent choice for growing kids. Lamb is a nutrient-dense meat rich in essential vitamins and minerals such as protein, zinc, iron, and vitamin B12.

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil

  • 8-12 small lamb chops (about 1-inch thick)

  • Sea salt and black pepper, to taste

  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced

  • Lemon peel from one lemon

  • Juice from half a lemon

  • 2 teaspoons of rosemary, fresh or dried

  • 1 teaspoon of Dijon mustard

Instructions:

  1. Pat dry the lamb chops and remove any shards or extra bones.

  2. In a bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, rosemary, lemon peel, lemon juice, and Dijon mustard. Rub the mixture on the lamb chops. If possible, let it marinate overnight.

  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

  4. Place the marinated lamb chops on the grill. Cook until dark golden brown forms, taking about 5-8 minutes.

  5. After cooking, sprinkle the lamb chops with sea salt and black pepper to taste.
